Reliance Jio most awaited Monsoon Hungama offer is here for you! You can avail some cashback offers an exchange offer for your Jio Phone. At the 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) earlier this month, the new Jio Phone exchange offer was announced. The offer is designed to convince customers to switch to a new Jio Phone at an effective price of just Rs. 501. The Rs. 501 is also claimed to be refundable security deposit that will be given back to customers at the end of 3 years.

The Jio monsoon exchange offer went live yesterday at 5:01 pm but was limited only to Jio Stores but customers can visit any Jio authorized retail store to exchange their existing smartphone for the company’s 4G phone. The operator has also announced a new Rs. 99 recharge for customers. The customers will receive new Jio SIM with the new Jio 4G feature phone but they can opt for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) if they wish to retain their existing mobile number.
Terms and conditions
To be eligible for the monsoon dhamaka offer, you need to take your old feature phone to the Jio authorized retail store. The phone should be in a working condition and must be purchased after 1 January 2015. It should be based on 2G/3G/4G (non-VOLTE) connectivity feature. And the phone must be accompanied by a charger and a battery.

Till now there were two Jio Phone plans, one with Rs 49 and Rs 153. With the recent Monsoon Dhamaka offer, Jio has also added a special offer of Rs 99 plan. This plan offers unlimited voice and 500MB 4G data per day for six months on paying Rs. 594 at the time of activation. The plan also brings 300 SMS messages for 28 days. Users eligible for exchange offer will get a special exchange bonus of 6GB data voucher worth Rs. 101. Though it was not announced at the RIL AGM event, it is mandatory for customers to pay the Rs. 594 under the Monsoon Hungama offer. This payment of Rs. 594 is like a one-time deposit for 6 recharges of the new Rs. 99 pack.
For users who do not want to avail exchange offer, they can buy the Jio Phone at the old price of Rs 1,500 offer. In this offer, users will not be able to avail the Rs 99 special recharge plan. RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani had said at the AGM that they have reduced the entry cost of the Jio Phone from Rs. 1,500 to as low as Rs. 501. Their aim is to promote the digital revolution in India with affordable Jio Phone. With this offer, each and every Indian can access the Internet.
