Xiaomi’s new Mi A2 is a successor of Mi A1. This new Android one smartphone sports many new and exciting features. On Tuesday, the company unveiled it’s two new smartphones- Xiaomi Mi A2 and A2 Lite at an event in Spain. Though both the smartphones are launched together, there are major differences between them. The A2 Lite model is considerably cheaper than the Mi A2. It also sports a display notch, while the latter has bezels on top and bottom of the display.

Xiaomi Mi A2  is expected to cost around €249  (roughly Rs 20,000) for the base model, and €349 (Rs 28,000 approximately) for the top-end model. Mi A2 Lite is priced at €179 (Rs 14,000 approximately), while the 4GB/64GB model is priced at €229 (Rs 18,000 approximately).

The device comes with a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It will have slimmer bezels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with two RAM variants – 4GB and 6GB. Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with a dual-rear camera setup with a 12MP sensor and a 20MP sensor with an LED flash.

The camera features various AI capabilities as seen on other Xiaomi smartphones this year. There is a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front with bokeh mode. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM, and USB Type-C. It is packed with a 3,010mAh battery.

A2 Lite Model

The Lite model comes with a smaller display 5.84-inch full-HD+ display. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor (which is slightly inferior as compared to Mi A2). It comes with a 3GB RAM coupled with 64GB built-in storage and supports microSD card. The Lite sports a dual-camera setup with 12MP and 5MP sensors.

There is a 5-megapixel sensor on the front side. Other key features include Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, dual-SIM. The phone is packed with a 4,000mAh battery.
