The Internet is flooded with several leaks and rumors about the much-awaited Redmi 6 Pro. Last week’s leaks suggest that the Redmi 6 Pro is likely to follow iPhone X trend to include a notch on the top of the display. Redmi 6 Pro comes with 18:9 aspect ratio displays, MediaTek chipsets, and Android Oreo. Speculations are that Xiaomi will launch the new Mi Pad 4 Android tablet along with the Redmi 6 Pro.
It will be the first Xiaomi Redmi phone and the only one in the Redmi 6 series to have a notch. This new smartphone will be the third phone from Xiaomi after Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE to feature a display notch. Last week, Xiaomi smartphone model number M1805D1SE got TENAA certification! It is expected that the Redmi 6 Pro will be the same smartphone.

  • Although Xiaomi didn’t mention many details about Redmi 6Pro, the poster does reveal a lot. The poster has ‘A’ and ‘I’ letters. This indicates that there might be some AI features mostly in the Camera menu!
  • The number 625 mentioned in the poster might represent that the chipset will be the Snapdragon 625. It might be old but is reliable and cheap.
  • The 4000 number mentioned in the poster (in the defense area) is most likely the 4,000 mAh battery capacity.
  • It features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ resolution display and 19:9 aspect ratio.
  • It has three storage options. The base model will have 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The mid variant will have 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The third and the last model will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
  • You can expand the storage up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The phone is likely to come with a dual lens setup. The primary camera will include a 12 megapixel and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. It comes with a circular fingerprint sensor. Rumors are that the Redmi 6 Pro might look similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro. It might take 2 months for Redmi 6 Pro to appear in India!
